We learn about healthy eating with the Canada Food Guide, and take a tour of Save On Foods with a Registered Dietitian. We learn about Participactions recommendations for reducing screen time and ways to stay active as well as participating in physical activities in the community. We will be exploring what it means to Volunteer in the community as well as spending time on citizenship.

Our goal in this program, is to teach youth the necessary skills that are essential to leading healthy lifestyles. We encourage youth to continue on this path through similar cadet programs specifically designed to pick up where this program leaves off for youth aged 12-18.
